my name is molly

Molly Rumble is an American dancer who began studying ballet in her hometown of Virginia Beach, VA.  She trained at multiple local studios, including Virginia Ballet Theater, Ballet Virginia, and Virginia Beach Ballet Academy. Molly continued her dancing joining the Butler Ballet.  She performed multiple notable roles while at Butler, including the lead woman in Gerald Arpino's Light Rain, Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, and a soloist in Patrick DeBana's Falling Sky.  Molly graduated in 2020 with a BA in Dance Pedagogy.

 

After graduating, Molly joined the City Ballet of San Diego where she performed principal, soloist, and corps de ballet roles with the company, including Queen of the Dryads in Don Quixote and Snow Princess in The Nutcracker.  She was also a teacher in their school.

 

Molly has since moved to Brooklyn, NY and is currently a freelance artist. She has performed as a guest principal dancer with Neglia Ballet, Prague Festival Ballet, and Ballet Surreal. Her next endeavor takes place in London with the English National Ballet this spring, as a corps de ballet swan in Derek Deane’s Swan Lake in the Round. She is also the current resident guest artist at Studio 17 Dance in Virginia Beach, VA. Molly is driven by authenticity and the search for Big T Truths.
